Protective Salt Spray Coatings

We use Bluefin™ Salt Spray Protective Coatings in gold, blue, or clear, to protect any outdoor heat pump unit coil from corrosion and degradation. Units installed within two miles of salt water are susceptible to corrosion due to salt content in the air and should be coated for protection and longevity.

Salt spray coatings are a great temperature transfer medium and will greatly enhance the durability of the outdoor coils and panels. 

These coatings can also be used on indoor units installed on ferries or other boats. The process is also effective on coils used in dental offices. The coating will protect coils exposed to airborne corrosive elements in a variety of industrial settings.

For new installations, we disassemble the units and strip off all the panels to expose the coil.  We then clean the oils and contaminants off each part with a specialized cleaner, allowing the parts and coil to dry for 24 hours and then we spray each part and coil with Bluefin™ Protective Coating. After another 24 hour dry, we reassemble and repackage the unit for shipping or delivery back to the customer.
