Heat Pump

Heat Pumps

Heat pumps are a highly efficient way to heat and cool your home using electricity and the natural flow of thermal energy. Instead of generating heat like a furnace or using large amounts of electricity like traditional air conditioners, heat pumps move heat from one place to another—providing year-round comfort with lower energy costs.

Heating Mode: Moving Heat Indoors
In the colder months, a heat pump extracts heat from the outside air—even when it’s cold—and transfers it indoors. Using a refrigerant and a compressor, the system absorbs heat from the air and releases it inside your home to warm your living spaces efficiently.

Cooling Mode: Removing Heat from Indoors
In warmer weather, the process is reversed. The heat pump pulls warm air from inside your home and transfers it outside, much like a traditional air conditioner. This cools your home while using less energy than many standard systems.
